VIRTUAL CLASSES WITH “WiZiQ” >>>

For students who cannot meet face to face, or prefer meeting in cyberspace, English Bridge offers its English language coaching services online (private, semi-private, or group) via the web-based, interactive services of WiZiQ.

WiZiQ is a place where members can both teach and learn using an easy-to-use, virtual classroom. In addition to attending online classes through English Bridge, it is possible to attend free public sessions (usually in English) on various topics from academics to anything under the sun.

To use WiZiQ, users first need to have minimum PC requirements, which include a reasonably fast computer, a good Internet connection, and a headset for speaking and listening. A computer video camera is not necessary, but is desirable to make the learning experience more realistic.

Next, users need to create a free account with WiZiQ, providing very minimal information (name, email, password). Personal profiles can be amended with as much personal information as desired, or can be kept pretty much anonymous and private.

After signing up, users should inform English Bridge of their account information so that teachers can invite them to online lessons. English Bridge online class invitations will arrive by email or via students’ WiZiQ accounts.

WiZiQ is an English-only platform; how-to-use information etc. is supplied only in English. Nonetheless, it is very easy to use even with basic English reading skills. English Bridge wants its students’ online learning experiences to be pleasant and fair, so extra time can be allotted to a first-time lesson if needed.
