SCHEDULING

English Bridge has no set class schedule, as one of its aims is to provide flexible meeting times to busy learners. Sundays and Mondays are generally closed, and availability varies from day to day. In general, however, the most desired time slots on weekday evenings and Saturdays are open for lessons.

Students are requested to schedule at least a month’s worth of lessons in advance online by clicking the “book now!”button at right on this site, which will take you to the off this site to the scheduling system. You will need to create an account to use it. Having up to six weeks of lessons booked in advance at any one time helps guarantee students’ time slots. Times indicated online are in Japanese standard time.

English Bridge allows for the online cancellation and rescheduling of lessons to accommodate students’ busy lifestyles. Lessons can be cancelled and rescheduled.
Pricing at English Bridge is simple. Payment plans are combined with different class sizes. There is special, temporary pricing for those students who want to study with others, but cannot because there are not yet other students available to study with at that time. Class content and materials do not affect tuition, and online lessons are priced the same as face-to-face ones.

PRICING

The enrollment fee is a non-refundable 10,000 yen per person, payable by the third class (not including the trial lesson) at the latest. Students who are taking online lessons only are except from this joining fee, as are students who take advantage of promotional campaigns and certain referrals.

Although payment may be made via PayPal (please inquire), most students pay in cash the day of the lesson. Students who have the funds available are advised to pay in advance to reduce fees. On the other hand, while there is no set time deadline by which pre-paid lessons should be used, it is recommended not to pay in advance for lessons that you are uncertain of being able to attend.

Students from outside Japan who wish to study online at English Bridge do so, also paying in US dollars. Please contact info@english-bridge.com.
